All Candidates Meeting

Do you have a question you’d like local candidates to address?

Archway Community Services is hosting an All-Candidates Meeting for community members to hear Abbotsford City Council candidates discuss food security priorities and share their ideas for strengthening our local food system and explore how we can work together to ensure everyone in our community has access to the food they need.

To support a thoughtful and respectful discussion, candidates will receive questions in advance. We invite you to participate by submitting your questions about local food security issues and opportunities that you would like candidates to address.

Please note: Questions submitted will be reviewed and organized into themes. Questions asked during the event will be developed from these themes and may not reflect individual submissions word-for-word.

Questions may relate to one or more of the following food security themes:

Social Equity

Building a resilient local food system that supports local businesses, creates jobs, and contributes to a strong local economy.

Protecting farmland, supporting farmers, strengthening local food production, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
